Project Description

Kjobenhavns Boldklub provides the training facilities for FC Copenhagen at the KB Hallen site in Frederiksberg, Denmark. Pitch #1, the main training pitch, was reconstructed following the new build of KB Halle main building. As a subcontractor SPS contributed by providing the new automatic irrigation system, undersoil heating system and SPS HYBRIGRASS surfacing.

Scope of works

1. Provision of the underground pipe matrix and valve/sprinkler arrangement for a new automatic irrigation system;

2. Provision of a complete undersoil heating system consisting of the pitch pipe matrix and main feed and return pipes.

3. Engineering and installation of the complete plant room heating system including heat exchanger, circulation pumps, flow valve arrangements etcetera.

4. Connection of the system to SPS "Efficient Heating Strategy" software controls, ensuring the most efficient energy consumption for the client.
