Project Description

The Municipality Stadium in Helsingør accommodates the Danish National Team training sessions prior to the National Team home and away matches. In 2019 the pitch was in urgent need of quality upgrade to meet the demands of the players and coaching staff.

SPS was awarded the contract to implement an automatic irrigation system including water storage tank and irrigation pump system.

Scope of works

1. Installation of 500 meter of HDPE ring main irrigation water pipe;

2. Installation of 100 meter of HDPE lateral irrigation pipe to cover the pitch central axis;

3. Installation of solenoid valves and sprinklers;

4. Installation of a 80 m³ Genap modular water storage tank, fitted with a heavy duty PVC liner;

5. Heavy duty irrigation pump and Hunter Hydrawise irrigation controls.
